About our Company:

Trig's is considered more of a collection than a chain. Each store is designed to uniquely serve its community in a very personal and committed way, taking on the personality of its region. Our story began in 1971 when Trig and Tula Solberg purchased the first, single small store in Land O'Lakes, Wisconsin. Today, T.A. Solberg Company, Inc. operates Trig's grocery stores in the Northern Wisconsin communities of Rhinelander, Minocqua, Eagle River, and Tomahawk.

Did you know that Trig's is only one part of the larger T.A. Solberg Company, Inc., a diverse and healthy organization of over 600 associates that work to operate Trig's Village Market in Manitowish Waters, several fuel and convenience stores throughout northern and central Wisconsin, Trig's Trucking Facility, Trig's Recycling Center, Tasmania Northwoods Resort, Postal Express Mailing & Shipping Services in Eagle River, Minocqua, and Rhinelander, Tone Zone Fitness Centers, Twice is Nice Consignment Store in Rhinelander, Signature Salon in Rhinelander, and International Air Charters.

Job Responsibilities Include:

 -Provide Excellent Guest Service  

-Responsible for the coaching, training, and development of teammates and associates.

-Conduct daily/weekly orders of merchandise and product.  Ensure proper storage, staging, and organization in storage coolers.

-Organize and account for product invoices to ensure purchasing habits are controlled and profitable.

-Assist with conducting monthly inventories accurately in order to measure from period to period the profitability forecast of the department.

-Ensure quality of product are to company standards and food code requirements.

-Assist guests with finding products and answering their questions quickly, professionally, and with respect.

-Assist with planning and set up of events that drive traffic to the department.

-Write weekly team schedules in the absence of the department leader.

-Managing replenishment process to ensure quality and fresh standards are timely, appropriate, and are done in a fashion that reduces the risk of shrink (loss).

-Ensuring proper logs, reports, and tracking are performed according to company standards. 

-Follow all safety and sanitation standards set by the company and food code.
