1234Full Time Pharmacist (Float) (RH0202)

**This position is a float position that will require some travel between four pharmacy locations (Rhinelander, Minocqua, Tomahawk, and Eagle River).  Home pharmacy location can be flexible. 

Professional Objectives:

Under the direction of the Director of Pharmacy, a pharmacist is responsible for ensuring all prescriptions are filled according to order and regulations, accurately, and in a timely manner. They are responsible for compliance areas related to Wisconsin law, including compliance with DEA regulations.  This is a role for a well-rounded pharmacist who enjoys working with the community and having the time to work with patients one on one to meet their healthcare needs. All of our Trig's pharmacies are well-staffed with incredible and seasoned pharmacists and pharmacy technicians that love to collaborate together as a team.

 Responsibilities:

  • Ability to perform all essential job functions of a pharmacy team leader
  • Perform all required inventory management functions for all controlled substances
  • Evaluate CII inventory levels and place orders when appropriate via CSOS
  • Report all med errors following protocol
  • Understanding of clinical services like medication synchronization, long-acting injectable medication administration, and comprehensive medication reviews
  • Ensure continual coaching/training/development of all technicians supervised
  • Be knowledgeable of expectations of other staff positions (data entry, fulfillment, inventory) and hold the staff accountable for those expectations
  • Be knowledgeable of all pharmacy operations and be able to adjust to other areas when needed
  • Evaluate and manage financial health of pharmacy department including sales, purchases, labor, and gross profit
  • Work closely with Director of Pharmacy to evaluate workflow processes and implement changes as necessary
  • Other duties as assigned

 Requirements:

  • Clear and valid Wisconsin Pharmacist license required
  • 1+ years pharmacist experience preferred
  • Immunization-certified
  • Ability to work independently and deliver to deadlines
  • Ability to solve problems with minimal direction
  • Great attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to excel in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment working on multiple tasks simultaneously while adhering to strict deadlines
  • Quality minded; motivated to seek out errors and inquire when something appears inaccurate
  • Excellent computer skills, including pharmacy operations system knowledge
