Rogge’s

Buy and sell seafood that is managed in ways that help keep the oceans healthy, help fisheries stay productive and keep s the fishing communities stable. Buy from certified vendors that follow the guidelines set forth by Monterey Bay Aquarium Seafood Watch. Also work with Marine Stewardship Council and the Global Alliance Best Aquaculture Practices.

Monterey Bay Aquarium’s Seafood Watch works to engage and empower consumers and business to purchase seafood that is fished and farmed in ways that minimize their impact on the environment.

Global Aquaculture Alliance provides global sustainable oversight of aquaculture seafood and is a leading aquaculture suppliers and producers toward strict guidelines that focus on environmental and social responsibility, animal welfare, food safety and traceability.

The Alaskan Seafood industry has chosen a Food and Agricultural Organization based model for independent third-party certification and verification that Alaskan fisheries are responsibly managed.
